Basic Dungeon. devlog #1


Hello there.

It’s been about a year since I started making this game, periodically dropping it and coming back again. After 5 mounts pause I have returned to development. Hopefully this devlog will help me to stay in development process.

Generally it’s a very simple game, just need to put/push objects on target spots to open the door to the next level. There are 3 characters: Dwarf, Wizard and Meha. Each one with its own abilities. On each level player has 1-3 characters to complete a challenge.

Latest Changes:

  • Added SFX and Music
  • Added Menus: main, options, control, finish game and pause
  • Added more sprite animations
  • Particle effect on transmutate ability
  • Floating text to show damage
  • Remaking portal ability from collision bullet to using tweens, so now it’s more predictable and less buggy
  • Some bugfixes, like redundant melee attack on death body etc.
  • Turn-base fixes
  • Added hints of input
  • Repaint fire, wizard, knockback

Visual changes:

old version:

  1. Bug with mines, somehow on double mine turn-base manager was crashed.
  2. Bug with portal an movable object.
  3. Old prison level.

new version:

  1. Double mine is not breaking turn-based manager
  2. Portal works with movable objects
  3. New prison level.
